Rosa Rugosa works well as a windbreak - and grows quickly.

We found Texels to be incredibly greedy. Easy to move and so on because ..incredibly greedy.

I usually stick them in water to root, then pot up and grow on for when I need them. Yes, I know you can just stick them in but this works too.

I've lived in Australia and Germany. Both had there good points.
I've always fancied moving to the Ozarks - a big chunk of land and very few restrictions compared to here.

I seem to have missed out on hatching anything this year nad would love to give my new incubator a test run. Is it too late or should I wait till Spring?

In my experience, they won't bother to try and jump the top wire, just stand on the stock-fencing till it concertinas, then pop through the gap. So far I am reduced to cable-tying the fence to the top ...

I use another brand which is mixed with Flubenvet and is cheaper than Marriage's. I'll look it up tonight when I shut the chickens up.

Chickens do slow down a bit after the Spring madness but as yours are young birds, they should still be laying well.
Cut out most of the treats so the pellets are their main food and see what happens ...
