All 6 chickens were still in their run and looking healthy and bloody-nose free this morning

I did rather indulge in liver and bacon and onions, but that's best when the liver is very fresh - not too keen on "plain" liver if it's been frozen or in the fridge a day or two.

I appear to have a bounty of pig's and beef/calves liver and feel like making some pate

So, please throw your best recipes at me!

- can I use the beef liver for pate? never tried it before
