Mine all have different strengths and weaknesses / abilities, etc. They raise the bird / beast and I shoot it.

I would like to know if anyone has had success with a mongrel being a good shooting companion? Mainly flushing and retrieving. I would have thought if you can guess what's in the mutts parentage there would be nothing stopping you training it.

Ok...Bunny giblets now boiled for the dogs' breakfasts, woody breasts frozen, bunnies jointed and frozen for stewing later.

The dogs are going bonkers at the smell of cooked rabbit!...I damn near got a fox too, was talking to my mate when the bugger came out of the hedge. As I brought up my rifle he vanished. Dang!
