OK, the workshops currently on the cards are in Jamanda's opening post here, and we need to work out an approximate timetable.

If folk have an estimated duration for the workshop they're offering, or a preferred/required day/time, please post in this thread so we can come up with a plan.

A.

****** DISCUSSED ON-THREAD ******

Sausage making and use of offal - Debbie and SimonD - 2.30/3pm Sat - 1.5-2 hours

Sharpening things - Vegplot - several/anytime - 15-20 mins

Herb wash balls - Sally iw - an hour all told

Crochet and bead sewing - Mochyn - any time/duration

Chicken Wrangling and Basic Chicken Information - Chez - sat afternoon? (comments, p6). Not to clash with Peter/Mina.

Various textile/fibre things, or could offer lip balm making or how to make cold cream, could do basic corn dolly making - Sally_in_Wales

I can run several and perhaps they will take 15-20 mins each. I'm flexible if they need to be ad hoc.

I'll bring the stuff for making herb washballs, can be a kids plus anyone who fancies a go activity, and will take about an hour probably all told, though maybe less if the kids just want to squidge then run.

I don't have a time in mind for mine; either duration or time of day.

Mine sort of depends on how many chickens Alison is going to let us play with . And how many people are interested, too. Small groups would be good, I guess, so as not to frighten the birds; and I don't mind doing more than one.

I have just noticed it's only one. Jack is happy to do a sheep shearing skill share if anyone still wants it.

ummm, I can do needley stuff throughout the weekend if someone wants to find me and ask. Other than that I am happy to slot in around people. If however you want a basic "how on earth do I use this contraption sewing machine" thingy then i will need a good hour at some point. I was thinking that perhaps we could play Robin hood around mid morning/mid afternoon. I am happy to do this as and when but I do need to be with the bows.

painting children....most important! If a child wants his/her face, arms, legs ect painted and they see me, just ask!

If however anyone want's to tell me where to be and when, I woould be more than happy!

Is vegplot doing bows with you Nell?
Or do you want him to if he's not?
We can bring ours.

I'm just thinking of the safety aspect if there are excited children (OK, and excited adults!) around.

I'll try to remember to bring the atlatls if we're doing bow stuff, they are fun to have a go with as a comparison
