she is ok, a combo of vet meds and magic splosh nursing seem to have healed the fistula rather well that was a new one for me as an old mutt wrangler and looked rather horrible for her ps she has taken to "big sister" extremely well and is acting like a middle aged wolf with a new pup in the family

Glad to hear she is doing well. It did sound like something very nasty. Not like you can rest that part of the body is it?
